How are you? We are just great. Three days in and it just gets better and better over here. Your place is a true gem and we can see what extraordinary efforts you went to make this place what it is.

The setting for the house is nothing short of outstanding! The mornings on the front porch and the evenings on the back overlooking the valley are idyllic.
We started here the first few days with a few guests (In laws and another couple friend of theirs... ) by tomorrow we will be down to the core group. It has been nice having the help for the first few days since everyone pitched in a little and helped get the place flowing nicely.

Windows have been washed, some delicate weeding has been done to open up some of the beds around the veranda and today I cleaned up the rock wall leading to the upper shower. Please know we won't do anything radical to alter your gardening plans... We are all good at maintaining that wild French balance while still reclaiming enough that one does not lose the plants and features that already exist in the garden. I will send you some photos soon so you can see what we have done.
Are you coming here in July or August? We sure would like to meet you in person sometime...
Anyway just thought I would touch base and tell you how great your place is...
