Once again we returned to Camphinie, the most comfortable, relaxing holiday home we have ever stayed in. The location is quiet, rural and undisturbed.

The accomodation is comfortable, stylish and understated. The views are vast and open, a place where you can really unwind, the nights are dark and the stars are spectacular. The owners have made the house easy to just move in and relax, books and maps of the area tempt you to explore the nearby sights.

The local (La Bastide-Murat) market at the end of every month and the Cahors market on Saturday are a treat to delight any foodie. It's a real pleasure to stock up and come home to Camphinie and enjoy the long evenings outside on the patio with good food and fabulous Cahors wine.

There is a free wi-fi connection and it helps if you are not french speaking to research the area on your laptop to find out what is going in in the nearby towns - there is so much going on in the warmer months.

Don't hesitate if you are thinking of France for your holiday, this home feels like your own, it was just perfect for us.
